Amber and Corey Koniniec are a husband-and-wife filmmaker duo and co-founders of Motion State, a Washington-based production company creating work across automotive, action sports, and branded storytelling. Based in the Pacific Northwest and traveling worldwide, they’ve spent over a decade combining creative direction with hands-on production, helping brands bring stories to life through movement, real moments, and cinematic visual storytelling.

Together, they lead Motion State with a grounded and collaborative approach that brings creative, production, and camera movement together under one roof. They’ve built the company around a trusted crew culture where long-term relationships, teamwork, and taking care of people matter just as much as the work itself. Their projects combine live action, camera movement, and emerging technology to create films that feel authentic, dynamic, and rooted in real performance.

Always looking for better ways to create and capture movement, Amber and Corey worked alongside Rivian’s Specialty Builds engineering team to help bring the first factory-built Rivian R1S arm car collaboration to life. Built on an all-electric platform, it reflects their belief that thoughtful technology and practical innovation can create stronger work and open new creative possibilities.
